Welcome to the Homeroom Institute lesson library. Here, Megan and Tom share the social and emotional learning (SEL) lessons that we’ve written and implemented in our classrooms. Our lessons follow the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning’s research-based guidelines for sequenced, active, focused, and explicit SEL curricula. Many of the lessons occur in series, and we recommend implementing an entire series before moving on to a new topic.

In keeping with our mission of elevating secondary SEL instruction, we offer these lessons free of charge for instructional use by classroom teachers. You are free to copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format. However, You must give appropriate credit and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the Homeroom Institute endorses you or your use. You may not use the material for commercial purposes.
